Delete your account & data

You can permanently delete your HeyAmigo account, your jobs, messages, reviews, and personal information at any time, from inside the app or by emailing us.

From the app (fastest)

  1. Open HeyAmigo on your phone.
  2. Tap Profile SettingsAccount.
  3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

By email

Send a deletion request from the email on your HeyAmigo account to support@heyamigo.co. We verify the request and complete deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

  • Your profile, login credentials, contact info, and saved addresses.
  • Your posted jobs, drafts, photos, and messages.
  • Reviews you wrote and reviews left for you.
  • App usage and device-identifier data tied to your account.

What we may retain

We keep the minimum required by law — for example, payment and tax records, fraud-prevention logs, and records tied to safety investigations or open disputes. Retained data is no longer linked to your active profile.

Report a user, job, or message

HeyAmigo does not tolerate fraud, harassment, hate, or unsafe behavior. Every report is reviewed by a human.

From the app

Open the job, profile, or message thread, tap the menu, then Report. Choose a reason and add details. The reported content is sent to our trust & safety team immediately.

By email

Email support@heyamigo.co with: the username or job ID, what happened, when it happened, and a screenshot if you have one. We acknowledge reports within one business day and investigate within seven.

Emergency or imminent danger

If anyone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. HeyAmigo cannot replace emergency response.

For data-subject access, deletion, or correction requests under GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, or other applicable laws, email support@heyamigo.co from the address on your account. We respond within the timeframe required by your jurisdiction (no later than 45 days).
